2. Scope

This policy applies to personal data processed when you use SkillPark through our website, dashboard, and ChatGPT app. It does not cover third-party services that have their own privacy policies.

3. Data we collect

• Account data — email address, authentication identifiers, and basic profile metadata used to sign in and secure your account.
• Learning data — learning summaries, extracted concepts, review cards, quiz answers, progress stats, streaks, and building or park data you create.
• Usage and device data — service logs and technical metadata (for example request timestamps and error logs) used for security, reliability, and abuse prevention.
• Billing data — subscription status and payment-related metadata when paid features are used. Card details are processed by our payment provider and are not stored by SkillPark.
• Support data — information you provide when contacting support.

4. How we use data

• Provide, operate, and improve SkillPark features.
• Authenticate users and protect account security.
• Generate learning outputs such as concepts, questions, and progress updates.
• Process purchases and manage subscriptions.
• Respond to support requests and service communications.

We do not sell personal data. We share data only as needed to run the service:

• Infrastructure providers — hosting, storage, and delivery services such as Cloudflare.
• Authentication providers — providers used for user sign-in and session management.
• AI providers — model providers used to generate concept extraction and learning outputs from user-submitted learning content.
• Payment providers — processors used to handle subscription payments.
• Legal disclosures — when required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

6. Data minimization and retention

We collect the minimum data needed to provide each feature. We do not request full chat transcripts by default. We retain account and learning data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, then delete or de-identify data according to our retention and legal obligations.

7. Your controls and rights

• Access and update profile information in your account settings.
• Request account deletion by contacting support.
• Request a copy of your personal data, subject to applicable law.
• Request correction of inaccurate personal data.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

SkillPark is not directed to children under 13 (or a higher age where required by local law). If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will review and delete it as appropriate.
