What "free in beta" means, current limits, what happens when paid plans arrive, and what beta users keep.
SkillPark is free while in beta
Everything currently in the product — self-learner mode, classrooms, AI card drafting from text and files, progress tracking — is free. No credit card, no trial countdown, no feature meter waiting to spring.
“Beta” means the product is young and moving fast, and we’d rather have your feedback than your money while we shape it.
Current limits
Free-beta accounts have generous-but-real limits:

When paid plans arrive
The plan (not a promise of dates):
- A free tier stays, permanently — roughly the shape of today’s limits.
- Paid tiers will raise classroom sizes, assignment counts, AI credits, and add co-teacher seats.
- Nothing you built gets taken away. Your park, buildings, streaks, and review history are yours regardless of tier. If a future limit is lower than what you already have, existing data is grandfathered — you’d only feel a cap on new growth.
- Pilot teachers get direct notice well before any change affects their classroom.
