Joining a Classroom
How students join with a code, link, or QR — and what the classroom can and can't see about you.
Your teacher will give you one of three things — they all lead to the same place:
- A three-word code like
park-beetle-wave→ sign in at app.skillpark.app, open My Classes, and type the code. - A link like
skillpark.app/join/park-beetle-wave→ open it, see the classroom preview, click join. - A QR code on the board → scan it; it opens the join link.
What you need
- A SkillPark account (Google or email — free).
- A username, so your teacher can recognize you on the roster. If you don’t have one yet, you’ll pick one during joining. Choose something your teacher will recognize.
- You must be 13 or older — the join page states this.
What happens when you join
Every active assignment in the classroom instantly appears as a building in your park, with its review cards scheduled into your daily reviews. You don’t miss anything by joining late.
Being in more than one class
You can be in several classes at once, from different teachers, and they all feed one park. Work from every class grows the same map, and Reviews is a single queue, so you never have to remember which class a card came from.
Where a building came from is always shown. Every assignment building carries the name of its class on your home screen, in the buildings list on My Park and when you tap it on the map. If you are in more than one class, Reviews and the buildings list also get a row of class buttons so you can focus on one teacher’s work — that only narrows the list, never the park itself.
What your teacher sees — and doesn’t
Your teacher sees your name/username and your learning progress in their classroom: which assignments you started, cards reviewed, accuracy, completion.
Your teacher does not get your park published to the world. Parks are private by default — joining a classroom never makes yours public. See Your Park & Privacy.
Leaving a classroom
You can leave a classroom at any time from My Classes. SkillPark asks you to confirm first. You immediately stop seeing its assignments and disappear from the teacher’s progress views. Your own park, streaks, and any personal learning stay yours.
