Classrooms
Creating a classroom, sharing join codes and QR codes, managing the roster, removing students, and archiving.
A classroom connects one teacher with up to 35 students (beta limit) and holds the assignments you publish to them.
Teaching team name
The classroom page starts with a small Teaching team card. It begins as My Team and you can change the name at any time. This is only a flexible label for keeping classrooms together — you do not need to enter a real school or organization name.
Your uploaded files still belong only to your account. Renaming the team does not share files, change student access, or change any classroom join code.
Creating a classroom
Open Classrooms → Create Classroom and name it. The name is visible to students on the join page and inside their app, so use something recognizable like Period 3 Science or Biology 10B.
During the beta, each account can own up to five active classrooms. Archived classrooms do not count toward that limit.
Join codes, links, and QR codes
Every classroom has a permanent three-word join code like park-beetle-wave. Students can use it three ways:

The join page states the 13+ age requirement and notes that student parks stay private by default.
The roster
The classroom page lists every joined student with their username and display name. From here you can:
- Open a student’s progress — see their per-assignment status and accuracy.
- Remove a student — they immediately lose access to the classroom’s assignments. Their own park and any personal learning stays theirs.
If a student leaves (or is removed), they disappear from your progress views and stop receiving assignments.
Co-teachers
The classroom page has an Invite Teacher option that generates a private invite link. During the free beta, classrooms support one teacher; co-teacher seats are planned for the paid tier. If you have a co-teaching situation for a pilot, tell us.
Archiving
Archiving a classroom ends it gracefully: students cannot join, assignment reviews pause, and the classroom stops counting toward your limit. Use it at the end of a term. Archived classrooms keep their join code, roster, assignments, and progress history.
Open an archived classroom and choose Restore Classroom to reactivate it. If you already have five active classrooms, archive one before restoring another.
