Your Park & Privacy

Who can see your park, what private-by-default means, and how public sharing works if you opt in.

Your park is your learning record — and it’s yours. Here’s exactly who can see what.

Private by default

Every park starts private. Nobody can view skillpark.app/park/yourusername — not classmates, not strangers, not even your teacher. Visiting a private park’s address shows nothing, not even confirmation that the park exists.

Joining a classroom does not change this. You need a username to join, but a username is not a publication — your park stays private.

What your teacher sees

A teacher whose classroom you joined sees your classroom progress: assignments started, cards reviewed, accuracy, completion status. That’s learning data from their assignments only — your personal buildings and anything outside their classroom are not part of their view.

Opting into a public park

If you want to show off your park — some learners like a public record of what they’ve studied — you can enable public sharing in Settings. Then skillpark.app/park/yourusername shows your buildings and their tiers to anyone with the link.

You can turn it off again at any time, which immediately makes the page private.

Leaving

Leaving (or being removed from) a classroom cuts the connection: the teacher no longer sees your progress, and their assignments stop appearing for you. Your account, park, and personal learning are unaffected.
