Park Progression

The complete game system — bricks, building tiers, the pickaxe energy track, streaks, XP, visitors, and snoozing.

Everything in the park is earned by one action: answering review cards. Here’s the full economy.

Bricks & building tiers

Correct answers earn bricks for the card’s building. Buildings upgrade at:

Tier Bricks needed Visitors attracted
1 · Common 0 10
2 · Rare 200 50
3 · Epic 1,000 200
4 · Legendary 3,000 1,000

A Legendary building is a real achievement — it represents months of retained knowledge, not a lucky afternoon.

The pickaxe energy track

How many bricks a correct answer earns depends on your pickaxe, which reflects how consistently you show up. Your energy score runs 0–20:

  • +1 energy for each day you complete your reviews.
  • −2 energy for each missed weekday. Weekends don’t drain — rest is allowed.
Pickaxe Energy Bricks per correct answer
Wood 0–3 10
Stone 4–7 12
Iron 8–11 15
Gold 12–15 18
Diamond 16–20 20

Streak multiplier

Consecutive active days multiply your brick earnings on top of the pickaxe:

Streak Multiplier
7 days 1.2×
14 days 1.5×
30 days
90 days 2.5×

Missing one day doesn’t break a streak — there’s a one-day forgiveness built in. A 30-day streak with a Gold pickaxe means 2× × 18 = 36 bricks per correct answer.

XP & levels

Separately from bricks, you earn XP for activity: saving new learning (+20 base, +10 per concept), correct reviews (+15), even incorrect reviews (+5 — showing up counts), finishing your daily reviews (+50), and tier-ups (100 × the new tier). XP drives your learner level. Repeated saves in one day earn diminishing XP, so the system rewards steady learning over binge-saving.

Snoozing

Life happens. You can snooze up to 3 buildings — their cards pause without penalty. Use it for the course that’s on hold, not as a permanent mute.

Classroom assignments

Assignment buildings from a classroom work identically — same bricks, same tiers, same streaks. School work literally builds your park. They come with a building your teacher picked — fun fair, science lab, or garden — that changes look at every tier, and students get 4 designs to give it their own look (see Doing Assignments). New assignment cards arrive at most 10 a day.

Building designs

Self-learner buildings start as a construction site and need a design before they can be placed. You get a one-off bundle of 10 designs; each one generates the art for a building at its current tier. Designs are the only thing in SkillPark that does not renew — everything else is earned by answering.
